Day 1

Upon arrival at Nelspruit Airport, you will be met by a representative of Island-Safari and transferred by road to Pestana Kruger Lodge.

3 x nights Pestana Kruger Lodge in a standard double room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis

Pestana Kruger Lodge is situated less than a kilometre away from Malelane Gate, the most southern entrance to the Kruger National Park.  It is approximately 4 hours drive from Johannesburg (402km), 56km from Nelspruit, 6km from the town of Malelane, 176km from Maputo and an hour’s drive from Swaziland.  The Lodge is surrounded by 22ha of indigenous gardens and bush with magnificent views of the Crocodile River, which forms the border with the Kruger National Park.   It’s a rare pleasure to watch the hippos so close by; and the other animals as they stroll down to the river for a drink of water or to cool down.

Pestana Kruger Lodge has a total of 74 rooms, with views over the river or the gardens. The comfortable rooms have an earthy décor with an African touch and all rooms have balconies.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS
BUHLEBETHU Restaurant:
This is the restaurant located in the Lodge and has a view of the Crocodile River. Offers “À La Carte” service with contemporary South African cuisine. Maximum capacity up to 80 persons.
Breakfast from 7h00 to 10h30
Light Lunch from 11h00 to 17h00
Dinner from 19h00 to 22h00
Breakfast packs are available on request for those setting off early in the day.

CROCAFELLAS Restaurant:
It is situated right at the entrance to the Pestana Kruger Lodge and has a capacity for 120 persons. The restaurant is located over the water inhabited by 7 crocodiles.
It is open from 08h00 daily till late and offers a bistro style meal.
This venue may be booked for private functions.

ESHONALANGA Bar:
Located on the hotel main building is open daily from 10h00 to 24h00. Sip an exotic cocktail while watching the sunset, in the bar or view deck while the game come to drink at the Crocodile River.

ROOM SERVICE:
This operates from 07:00 – 22:00, light cold sandwiches and salads are available.

“BOMA”:
This is an outdoor experience you cannot miss!! The “Boma” is an African tradition that offers a typical dinner in an outdoor setting, served around the campfire.
These meals must be requested in advance and can be ordered for a minimum of 20 people up to a maximum of 150.

Day 4

This morning following breakfast, you will be collected and transferred by road to Maputo in Mozambique where you will be connecting to a light aircraft charter to Inhaca Island.

4 x nights Inhaca Island in a standard double room including dinner, bed, breakfast and select water sport activities.

Inhaca Island is a small-inhabited island, lying just 40 km (15 minutes by plane) off the Mozambican capital of Maputo and positioned at the entrance to Delagoa Bay. The Island is a great destination for anyone who wants to enjoy the relaxed rhythms of a small, semitropical, Indian Ocean island. On the fringe of the tropics, it is rich in breathtaking beaches, coral reefs and exotic marine life, offering amazing scuba diving sites and big-game fishing. The island is a secure and quiet location that is a port of call for yachts, sailing boats and cruise ships seeking out a tropical option in the velvet waters of the Indian Ocean. It has been protected as a Natural Reserve since 1976 and still boasts huge areas of untouched vegetation.

Situated on the beach front, amongst coconut palm groves and luxuriant tropical vegetation, Pestana Inhaca Lodge is famous for its wonderful gardens, its warm hospitality and fabulous sea food.

Inhaca Island is easily accessible by boat or ferry from the capital of Mozambique, Maputo.

BAÍA Restaurant:
This is the only restaurant at the Lodge. Located in the main building, it has a seating capacity for up to 120 persons. It is always open for dinner whenever the weather is unsuited to outdoor eating and it serves a buffet of Mozambican, Portuguese and International specialities.
Opening hours are from 19:00 to 22:00.

HORIZONTE Bar:
Open every day from 06:00 to 01:00, it offers coffee, tea, international drinks and tropical cocktails.

PEPELA Esplanade:
This relaxing esplanade is situated by the Pestana Inhaca Lodge Pool and has a capacity up to 70 persons. It is open every day from 07:00 to 22:00 for breakfast, À La Carte lunch and light snacks. It also offers coffee, tea, international drinks and tropical cocktails. The PEPELA doubles as a Poolside Bar.
In addition to the facilities already mentioned, dinner at the Lodge is usually taken in the open air. Under the beautiful star-studded night sky, our head chef conjures up dishes to delight every palate.
