From R 16 180 per person sharing Day 1 You will depart Johannesburg on a British Airways flight to Livingstone where upon arrival, you will be met by a representative of Island-Safari and transferred by road to The Islands of Siankaba. 2 x nights Islands of Siankaba fully inclusive of meals and accommodation, local drinks & house wines, transfers to and from Livingstone airport, 1 x trip to the Zambian side of the falls (1 x trip per stay), laundry, sundown cruise, mokoro trips, nature trail and village/school walk.
Known as the Jewel of the Zambezi and perfectly placed just upstream between the Victoria Falls and the Chobe National Park, the Islands of Siankaba emphasizes exclusivity, luxury and high standards. The lodge is situated on two densely forested sand islands in the Zambezi River. The Islands of Siankaba have been developed as a luxury five star lodge accommodating just fourteen guests. The two islands are linked by a wooden and rope suspension bridge, leading to an overhead walkway in the tree canopy connecting the elevated chalets to Dining room, Bar and lounge. There are seven comfortable, private and elegant chalets situated on the small island, while the larger island houses the dining room lounge and swimming pool. All chalets are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, ball and claw bath and separate shower, mini bar, large mosquito nets, ceiling fan and private safe. They are raised above ground level into the tree canopy and their balconies extend out over the river. This unique position means that you can see everything the area has to offer while relaxing in the comfort of your chalet. The seventh chalet has been designed with honeymooners in mind, and boasts a private garden, and private eating area. The staff offers an informal, friendly and highly personalised service. Afternoon tea is served daily on the main lodge decking, allowing one to enjoy magnificent views of the mighty Zambezi River. The shady forest canopy that surrounds the swimming pool is an ideal place to relax and enjoy an afternoon drink. The dining room and lounge offers a unique experience of comfort and relaxation in a truly African setting. Among the activities are romantic boat cruises, cultural visits to the nearby village, fishing excursions, and nature walks. Additionally trips to Victoria Falls and Livingstone, helicopter and micro-light flights, and a number of adventure activities can be arranged for guests. The Islands of Siankaba are so comfortable that you might decide to spend your days lazing around the pool or in the comfort of your chalet, or indulge in a massage, or facial. Day 3 Following breakfast, you will be collected and transferred by road to Muchenje Safari Lodge. 2 x nights Muchenje Safari Lodge fully inclusive of unlimited game activities; including game drives, walking safaris, river cruise, night drives, village trip; and all meals, all drinks, laundry services and park fees.
Situated on the Western side of Chobe National Park, Muchenje Safari lodge offers spectacular Game viewing away from the 'crowds' in the Kasane area. Privately owned and managed, this intimate Lodge accommodates only 20 Guests in comfortable Chalets overlooking the Chobe River and floodplains. Each Chalet has en-suite facilities, and is equipped with mains electricity. The neighbouring Chobe National Park is renowned for its concentration of elephant and buffalo, and the late afternoon in particular, provides spectacular viewing. Safari activities at Muchenje Safari Lodge include game drives in open Land Rovers, Boat cruises along the Chobe River – allowing for excellent game and bird viewing, night drives, and cultural visits to local villages. Muchenje Safari Lodge provides the most tranquil and hospitable atmosphere of all the Chobe Lodges. Additional facilities at the Lodge include a small swimming pool from which one can watch the wildlife gathering along the Chobe River. A pleasant lounge, dining area and bar are part of the Main Lodge area, along with an adjacent camp fire around which the tallest of stories are told over late evening drinks. Day 5 This morning following breakfast, you will be collected from Chobe Safari Lodge and transferred by road to Kasane Airport to connect to a light aircraft charter to Gunns Camp in the Okavango Delta. 2 x nights at Delta Camp fully inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all activities (guided walks and mokoro trips), local beverages, laundry services and medical evacuation cover.
This intimate, yet informal safari camp is nestled on a small island close to the south-western edge of Chief's Island, in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Botswana inland “sea”. Dotted in the forest Delta Camp’s lethaka (reed) chalets are designed to take advantage of the many indigenous trees of their island forest. Each chalet fits unobtrusively into its setting, blending into the surrounding bush while enjoying views over the flood-plains. Hammocks complete the picture of simple luxury in the wilderness. Delta Camp is on the banks of the Boro, one of the primary watercourses of the Okavango, and all chalets overlook the water. Enjoy your meals in the elegant Dining Room overlooking the sweep of the Delta, or take a beautifully prepared picnic onto one of the many nearby islands for a secluded and intimate experience. The excellent meals ensure that guests are well prepared for their walks; tea and coffee are available at all times, and the open bar is on hand to refresh. The Okavango Delta is a shifting web of crystal-clear channels, lagoons, sweeping floodplains and palm-studded islands. Game of all sorts is around - lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, hippopotamus, crocodile, giraffe, and a number of species of antelope including the rare lechwe, and sitatunga. There are also otter, honey-badger, and some of the smaller wild cats amongst the many mammal species you may see. Additionally, over 450 species of birds bring the Okavango to life and bird-song heralds each dawn. The Okavango has indeed earned its reputation as one of the world's premier wilderness areas. Day 7 Following breakfast and a final morning game activity (time permitting), you will be transferred back to the airstrip to connect to your light aircraft charter back to Maun to connect to a scheduled Air Botswana flight back to Johannesburg. On arrival you will again be met and transferred by road to The Safari Club.

OR Tambo International Airport is currently the busiest airport in Africa. The Club offers free transfers to and from the airport to all guests. The Lodge is centrally situated in the economic heartland of South Africa – Gauteng Province. The capital city, Pretoria, is approximately 50km away and Johannesburg only 18km. Emperor’s Palace, a world class casino with more than 12 restaurants, is only 7km down the road. The well-known Pilanesberg area with its nature reserves and Sun City complex is 150km by road and it is 400km to the world-renowned Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga. Day 8 Following breakfast, you will be collected and transferred back to OR Tambo Airport to connect to your light aircraft charter to Arathusa Safari Lodge. 3 x nights Arathusa Safari Lodge fully inclusive of 3 meals per day, 2 game drives per day, 1 guided bushwalk per day and all teas and coffees.
Arathusa Safari Lodge is located within the northern sector of the magnificent Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park. The lodge flanks the bank of a large lake, with each luxury chalets enjoying a 180-degree view of the water. Guests are able to view and enjoy a variety of wildlife (including the big five – lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant) from their private veranda. In addition, there is anything from 5 to 20 hippo in the lake - providing 24 hour entertainment. The Lodge itself is on an 868 hectare property, but with traversing rights on neighbouring land of an additional 4 000 hectare – thus adding to the overall experience, and wildlife viewing in the Sabi Sand Reserve. The landscape is rich and varied. Open savannahs, riverine thickets, river beds and lush bush vegetation ensure interesting sights around each corner, in addition the perennial Manyeleti River meanders its way through the property. Arathusa Lodge is small, and intimate, open-plan and designed to blend with the area – both of the lake and the bush: wood and thatch, air and water – an extension of the natural environment. An infinity swimming pool overlooks the waterhole and is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing on a smouldering summer afternoon. No more than 20 guests are accommodated at Arathusa Safari Lodge. The 10 thatched luxury suites each have a king-sized four-poster bed, bathroom en-suite (with bath and separate indoor and outdoor showers), and a secluded veranda. Additional amenities include a mini bar (stocked with a selection of beverages and snacks), an electronic safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, mosquito net and tea/ coffee making facilities. However, there are no telephones or televisions in the rooms at Arathusa. Guests are able to make calls from the reception area, and to send or receive e-mails and faxes, should they wish to do so. Meal times at Arathusa are a sociable affair. From the kitchen guests are treated to sumptuous dishes, fresh produce and home baked confectionary. Breakfasts and lunches are served buffet style, while dinner is tailored to suit the guest’s preference. Before the afternoon game drive, guests are presented with a menu of delectable dishes on offer for the evening ahead. Arathusa prides itself on its leopard viewing. As leopards are territorial, their regular appearances in the area allow the guides to plot their movements and to observe their behaviour. Large herds of buffalo numbering in excess of 300 often find their way to the Arathusa Lake. One need not move far to enjoy the safari experience! Elephants are also seen in numbers. In addition, there is good general plains game in this section of the Sabi Sand Reserve, including giraffe, zebra, warthog, impala and more. This region is also excellent for birders. Day 11 Following a final morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred back to Maun by light aircraft charter where you will then connect to your Air Botswana flight back to OR Tambo.
