Day 1

You will depart Johannesburg in your hire car and drive 4 hours to Jatinga where you can spend your first 2 nights relaxing after your long flight from overseas.  Jatinga is the perfect base from where to visit the Panorama route before beginning your safari.

2 x nights Jatinga Country Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis

Jatinga Country Lodge is located on the outskirts of the picturesque town of White River, and some 38 kilometres from the Kruger Park’s Numbi entrance gate, it is also an excellent base from which to visit the Panorama route. The Lodge is set in over 30 hectares of beautiful gardens and grounds, with the White River flowing through the lower reaches of the property.

Accommodation is in 16 Superior rooms, and 4 Luxury Suite (one of which is the Honeymoon suite). Décor is varied, with influences from Colonial, Victorian, Provencal, English Country and African Colonial. Many of these rooms also boast outdoor showers. Two of the suites have an English County theme, with open fireplaces in the lounge and bedroom, and magnificent 4 poster beds. The two Colonial suites boast chequered tiled bathrooms, with ball and claw baths. No matter your preference for accommodation, all types are air-conditioned, have satellite TV, offer a mini-bar and snack basket, tea/ coffee making facilities, and have a valet and laundry services.

Although there is much to see in the area, you might also just want to relax at Jatinga. There is an elevated wooden overlooking the River, a secluded pool deck and inviting pool. You might also enjoy a visit to the Lord Milner Pub, or dinner at the Jatinga Restaurant.
Birding is excellent on the property, and there are also two walking trails along the River. In addition, there are a number of activities and excursions that can be arranged, such as scenic helicopter flights, early morning Hot Air Ballooning, horse riding, quad biking, and Kruger Park Tours

Day 3

Following a final morning breakfast at Jatinga, you will depart for the Kruger National Park.  The drive is about 2.5/3 hours which is a perfect distance and not too far.

3 x nights Imbali Safari Lodge fully inclusive of 3 meals per day, 2 game activities per day and all teas and coffees.

Imbali Safari Lodge is perfectly situated in one of nine pre-allocated private concessions within the Kruger National Park and has been carefully designed to have minimal impact on this natural environment.  Twenty-four guests can look forward to five star luxury air-conditioned suites, each with their own private Jacuzzi and magnificent wooden viewing decks. King-size beds offer the finest furniture and imported linen whilst en-suite bathrooms are furnished with antique baths. There are beautiful views overlooking the River and surrounding savannah from each suite.

With an air of opulence, Imbali Safari Lodge is the perfect African utopia where guests will enjoy peace and serenity. Dining can be in the lodge’s restaurant, or outdoors, or privately in your suite.

Guests can enjoy game drives, and guided walks, or, self-drive game viewing in the Park itself. For relaxation, there is swimming pool, and Nomadic African Spa treatments.

Day 6

Following a final morning game drive and breakfast, you will say goodbye to the Kruger National Park and begin your 6 hour drive back to Johannesburg.
