From R 4 975 per person sharing Day 1 Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport you will be met by an Island-Safari.com representative. Pick up your rental car from O.R. Tambo International Airport this morning for a four and half hours drive to Kapama Game Reserve, close to Hoedspruit. Check into Gwala Gwala Safari Lodge where there will be time for some cool beverages and freshening up before your first afternoon/evening game drive.
Gwalagwala is a small, intimate safari lodge offering luxury tented camp accommodation. Built to host a maximum of 14 people (7 tents), the individually named units nestle discretely under a canopy of trees in the natural bush to ensure solitude and privacy. The camp is situated on the Klaserie River which provides the perfect setting for this unique camp. The camp consists of seven en-suite tents of which one is a super luxurious tent with a his and hers basin, bath, outdoor shower and a lounge. Each tent is built on a wooden platform raised in the trees on sturdy stilts. The game lodge is fully electrified & all tents have their own en suite bathroom & private deck. You have a choice of twin or queen sized beds. All bedrooms are fully insect proofed. The tents are all equipped with fans for the warm summer days & heaters & electric blankets for those chilly winter nights so that at all times you enjoy a comfortable temperature in your room. We also provide tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, international plug & fridge in each unit to add to your comfort. Kapama Game Reserve is so well positioned, not too far from habitation but still deep in the bush, enabling us to offer a truly superior range of activities. Two game drives per day and an optional bush walk is included in the all-inclusive Kapama safari package. All other activities are not included and are charged as extras. Spend two nights at Gwala Gwala Safari Lodge on a fully inclusive basis Day 2 Your one full day on safari will be spent on game drives early in the mornings and late in the afternoon with time in-between to just relax and be spoiled by the lodge staff. Day 3 After a morning game drive and some leisure time, drive back via the Panorama Route / Blyde River Canyon (if time allows) to Outlook Lodge in Johannesburg.
The Outlook Lodge is one of those establishments, perfectly situated to meet all clients’ specific needs and requests. From discerning travellers, professionals and avid safari enthusiasts, the lodge will meet your expectations. They are situated within 10 minutes drive from Johannesburg International Airport, and offer complimentary airport transfers between 8am and 8pm. Rooms are tastefully and elegantly furnished to celebrate South Africa’s wonderful diversity of wildlife and spectacular landscapes. Coffee and tea making facilities are available in every room as well as satellite television. All rooms have their own private bathroom facilities. Public areas such as the lounge and bar area are friendly and unassuming with fireplaces scattered throughout the lodge. The lounge is the ideal place to watch a wildlife documentary, read a book or simply relax with friends and family. Overnight Outlook Lodge on a Bed and Breakfast basis Day 4 After breakfast, depart to OR Tambo International Airport. Drop off your rental vehicle and check in for your flight to Windhoek. Upon arrival in Windhoek, pick up your rental vehicle and drive to Swakopmund. (Swakopmund is about 400km from Windhoek, so we recommend that you overnight in Windhoek should you arrive late). Check into Hotel Hansa.
